The Spirit Of Ethan Allen III Cruise Ship

Travelers will start their adventure on the Burlington Waterfront with a self-guide tour through the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center where they will discover over 70 live species of fish, amphibians, invertebrates and reptiles with special exhibits that explore 11, 000 years of the regions Native American history and culture. They will gain an understanding of how the native people had an intimate connection with the Lake Champlain Basin.

Guests will then board the Spirit of Ethan Allen III, located just steps from ECHO. On board they will enjoy a 1.5-hour fully narrated Lunch Cruise. Each deck of the ship is fully enclosed, heated and air-conditioned with 360 degrees of panoramic views of Lake Champlain amidst the Green and Adirondack Mountains. Guests will dine on Executive Chef Robért's daily lunch buffet that includes homemade soup of the day, fresh baked bread, salad bar, carving station, main dish salads, pasta of the day and assorted desserts.

Your motor coach will then travel about 20 minutes south to Shelburne Farms, a 1,400-acre working farm and National Historical Landmark. Tour Operators will be have the option to reserve a guided bus tour of the property where visitors will see and taste cheeses crafted on site as well as learn about the history and evolution of the estate. Or operators can reserve an exclusive, private Tea Time for guests at the Inn at Shelburne Farms followed by an up-close look at the Cheese making operation with cheese tasting.
