How Deck Rentals Work: You have the option to rent one, two, or even all three decks on our ship. Private deck rentals include private use of the deck(s) with dance floor, private outside deck(s), Spirit Crew, Waitstaff, Bar Setup with Bartender, Tables, Chairs, Linen, China, Silverware, Glassware and Background Music. Minimum cruise time is 1.5 Hours. Vermont and Burlington Sales Tax will be added to the Charter Rate.

Maximum Boat Capacity: 363 Passengers

Boarding: Boarding begins 15 to 45 minutes prior to departure (depending on departure time), and disembarking must be completed 15 minutes after docking. Larger groups may request extended boarding and disembarking times.

Decorations: The Spirit’s staff will decorate buffet tables, cake tables, hors d’oeuvres displays and action-station service tables. In addition, we will assist you in placing your personal decorations on your deck. Our Event Planners will gladly offer design ideas to add impact to your cruise and order your decorating pieces, if you wish. Chair covers and sashes may also be ordered through your Spirit Event Planner.

Food Service: All food is prepared by our Executive Chef and his staff, and may be served buffet, plated, or island-station style. No outside catering is allowed. Pre-set menus are suggestions only. Customized menus may be easily created to match your taste, budget and style. For liability reasons, no food or beverage may be removed from the boat. Please provide advance notice of any special dietary requirements.

Beverage Service: All beverage service is provided by our own professional mixologists. By Vermont State Law, no alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought on-board or carried off the boat. Full cash bars and drink tickets are available. Ask about our welcoming beverage service and signature cocktails.

Entertainment: The Spirit of Ethan Allen offers an on-board professional DJ service, “Spirit Sounds.” Our Baby Grand Piano, played by our resident pianist, is also available for private events.

Wedding Ceremonies: You are welcome to have your wedding ceremony on board the ship. There is no extra charge when your ceremony is part of your charter. Our Captain does not perform ceremonies, however you may bring the officiate of your choice.
